Two whalesharks, one adult and one juvenile were seen out at Pedro Blanco. We also saw a Blue Marlin on the 07 July 2002.

Bamboo Shark in the East Lamma Channel
December 03, 2001 - Asiatic Marine recently caught a Bamboo Shark in the East Lamma Channel, Hong Kong whilst undertaking a fisheries survey. The species was released back into the water and is a possible first record catch for this area. Confirmation of species name is still being evaluated. July 2001- Whalesharks seen
*Whalesharks seen during July and September 2001. Asiatic Marine Limited has filed the 'mugshots' of the whalesharks with the Whaleshark Research Institute. We are hoping to undertake scientific research through DNA skin analysis and tagging studies in 2006.
